MetaVis ARCHITECT visualizes a SharePoint environment through two-dimensional graphical diagrams. The application allows users to edit diagram elements and subsequently provision or synchronize updates to the repository. As an architect or a business user, the ability to graphically visualize the metadata environment provides the system-wide awareness necessary to design efficient models. MetaVis loads the environment into intuitive diagrams that not only expose the metadata structures but also their relationships. Using these diagrams, designers can:

When you are ready to roll out a model, MetaVis ARCHITECT connects to the SharePoint repository and compares the design versus the current environment. Upon approval, the system automatically deploys individual, selective or all changes to your environment.

MetaVis Architect COMPARE Plug-In adds another layer of functionality for architects and administrators. COMPARE identifies any differences between two or more SharePoint sites including columns, content types and lists/libraries and allows you to selectively or completely synchronize these sites. Ideal for uses such as multi-stage deployment, compliance monitoring and replication, this functionality allows architects to maintain control over their environment.

While MetaVis ARCHITECT® is intended to simplify and accelerate the process of designing and deploying SharePoint schemas, MetaVis CLASSIFIER is focused on organizing SharePoint content and its metadata within these schemas. CLASSIFIER provides capabilities to tag content with new values and content types; move or copy content to different folders, lists, sites or servers; or do both at the same time. The best part is you can do all of it with multiple items; at the same time, saving time and money.

The BULK IMPORT Plug-In extends CLASSIFIER functionality to the file system. Users are provided a simple interface to import and categorize files from local computers, networks or other storage into specific SharePoint locations.
