Today we released a new update to our MetaVis Architect Suite software. Release 2.1.4.201305191543 added the option to copy selected properties like Title, Subject, Author and Keywords from PDF files to the fields of the document library when copying PDF documents to SharePoint locations, added the option to copy non-document items using CSV spreadsheet for metadata enhancement and item selection, added the option to clone an original user permissions and group membership simultaneously to multiple users when Mass Transferring Permissions for SharePoint users and also added three tiers of Backup product deployments: 1) Content-Only Backup; 2) Content and Structure Backup; 3) Advanced Backup that includes out-of-place restore.

The application will offer to download and install the update upon application startup. Confirm the update and restart the application when prompted. It is also possible to quit the application, uninstall it, and then download and install it again to the same location to get an update. All data currently managed by MetaVis Architect Suite will be preserved.
