Comparing Sites - Content Types and Content Columns do not appear

I am doing a trial and trying to compare two sites. There are differences between lists and the content columns and types, but only the differences in the lists are showing. Is there some view that needs to be activated or preferences set? This seems quite strange.

Thank you for your post. Are you comparing a site to its subsite? If so, Architect will only display differences in lists. The reason for this is that content types are inherited from a parent site to all subsequent sites in SharePoint. Although you can make changes to the inherited content types anywhere in the heirarchy of sites, pushing the change up in the heirarchy will cause errors in your SharePoint environment. Here are several other points:
1) We do support full compare and synchronization (including content types and columns) between sites in different site collections.
2) If you are trying to redesign your taxonomy by pushing a content type up your site tree, you can try this alternative.
a) Open a diagram from your destination site
b) Drag-and-drop the content type that you want to move up the site heirarchy from the navigation tree to the diagram. Architect will automatically rename this content type so it doesn't conflict with the existing one.
c) Delete the old content type.
d) Rename the new content type to the old content type name.
e) Update SharePoint
Thanks for the comments. I am comparing different department sites, but I fear that they are considered sub-sites by the program.?? We have sites in the form: https://dept.sp.company.com/sites/Dept1 & https://dept.sp.company.com/sites/Dept2. (I compared one of these sites to my MySite and there I did get column differences.)

Try this:
1) Click on the Load from SharePoint button (in the menu) and enter a new diagram name. Point the URL at https://dept.sp.company.com/sites/Dept2
2) Now compare your original https://dept.sp.company.com/sites/Dept1 to the new Diagram with URL https://dept.sp.company.com/sites/Dept2.
It should show you the differences.
