MetaVis Architect Suite beta release 1.0.9.200903291944

Today we released new update to MetaVis Architect Suite beta software. Release 1.0.9.200903291944 contains first phase of custom column types support. Architect can now see on the diagram columns of custom types with right type name and icon. Columns of custom types could be created on diagram in content types or column groups but Architect cannot yet provision them into Sharepoint or use in site compare operation. These two things will come soon. We also improved ergonomics of MetaVis suite by providing more useful information in error messages and adding more drag and drop operations. Good advancement is the ability to drag and drop content type from one diagram to the other one so it could be copied to different site. Other example is double click on a document in classifier opens the document by native application (like MS Office if it is an MS Office document). More such usability updates are coming in next beta-releases.

The application will offer to download and install update upon application startup. It is also possible to quit the application and download and install it again to the same location to get an update. All data currently managed by MetaVis Architect will be preserved.
