Hide standard SharePoint content

The canvas for adding content is really large. When adding a large custom project, I get lost in the SharePoint content (lists, content types, etc). It would be great if you could hide the SharePoint content and show the custom content types and lists added by the user (that's me in this case...).

Thanks for your posting. There is a way to hide/unhide SP objects so they are easier to work with.
1) Each SP object class in the navigator has a menu that can be initialized by right-clicking on the object class in the Navigator pane (see first image below). If you wish to work with just your content types uncheck the "Inherited Content Types".
2) Also, make sure that you arrange the objects on the diagram after enable/disable operation so that they are easier to work with (see second image below)
