Hi,

I've just downloaded and installed Designer, as it looks like it could help us a lot over here.

However, when trying to load fom Sharepoint, I've had the following error :

Transport error: 501 Error: Not Implemented

One thing worth noticing: we use Form Based Authentication (FBA) to log to the Sharepoint, as it's not in any Domain.

Could the error come from that, or is there another issue.
In the first case, how could we help Designer support FBA ?

We have added FBA authentication. It should be released to beta on December 8, 2008.

Hi there,

I am working on a dev server - http://sps2007 and when I try to connect to sharepoint I am getting 401's

thoughts?

A 401 error is caused by an authentication issue. The account that you are using must at minimum have read rights to load the diagrams into Designer. We should be able diagnose the problem by looking at the .log file located in My Documents\My Metavis\.metadata directory. Feel free to send that file to support@metavistech.com.
